Studies close under-enrolled because veterans never hear about them. Researchers who study veteran health report that the most common barrier to taking part is simply not knowing the opportunity exists.

We list studies currently enrolling veteran participants. Every listing links straight to the official study page. Read it, talk with your provider, and decide for yourself.

What Mendry does and does not do

Mendry does not conduct, sponsor, fund, or endorse the studies listed here. We list them so veterans can find them. Mendry receives no payment of any kind for referrals or for any veteran’s participation, and does not screen participants, determine eligibility, or collect health information. All eligibility decisions are made by the study team. Participation in any research study is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time. Before enrolling, talk with your own treating provider — particularly if you take prescription medication, receive care through the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care Network, or use medical cannabis under state certification. Listings are verified periodically and may not reflect real-time enrollment status. Confirm directly with the study team.

Before you contact a study team

None of this is required. It is what tends to make the conversation go better.

Tell your own provider you are considering a study, before you enroll rather than after.
Write down every medication and supplement you take, including doses. Study teams ask, and guessing wastes everyone’s time.
If you use medical cannabis under state certification, say so plainly. Some studies require it, some exclude it, and none of them can place you correctly if they do not know.
Ask what happens to your data, who sees it, and whether anything is reported to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Ask what the study asks of you in hours per week, and for how many weeks.
Remember that you can stop at any time, for any reason, without giving one.
