Mendry is a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit publishing plain-language education about VA Community Care, state medical cannabis law, and the two-hat clinical model. The audience is veterans and their families, licensed clinicians, and the Direct Care Support Professionals who support them.
Everything on this site is general educational information. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation, not dosing guidance, and not a substitute for professional care. Do not delay seeking, or disregard, advice from a licensed clinician because of something you read here. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911.
Cannabis law is federal, state, and constantly moving. Our descriptions of the legal landscape are exactly that — descriptions, accurate to the best of our knowledge on the date published, and not a substitute for advice from your own attorney or a determination from your state board. Clinicians considering the two-hat model should take their own counsel before making practice decisions.
Reading this site, following a link from it, or emailing us does not make you a patient of Mendry or of anyone listed on it. Mendry does not treat, prescribe, certify, refer, employ, place, or supervise anyone.
The directory is a listing, not an endorsement. Providers are listed on the basis of the credentials they present and the standards published on our About page. Mendry does not guarantee any provider’s licensure status, availability, competence, or the outcome of any care you receive. The directory itself is operated on Veterans Desk, a partner platform with its own terms. Verify any clinician’s licence with your state board before you rely on it.
Applications for provider membership and the associated fees are handled by DutyPath Academy, not by Mendry, and are governed by DutyPath Academy’s own terms. Membership is subject to licence and eligibility review. Membership does not make anyone an employee, agent, or partner of Mendry, and it does not entitle a member to preferential placement.
Mendry does not sell, recommend, promote, or receive compensation for cannabis products, dispensaries, or brands. We run no affiliate links, discount codes, or product campaigns. Sponsors fund the mission and have no influence over content or listings.
Please do not use this site to break the law, to send us Protected Health Information, to scrape or overload the site, to impersonate anyone, to misrepresent your credentials in a membership application, or to reproduce our content as your own.
Text, graphics, guides, and the Mendry name and logo belong to Mendry or its licensors. You may read, print, and share our educational material for personal or non-commercial professional use with attribution. Commercial reuse, republication, or use in training or paid programmes needs written permission — ask us, we are usually happy to say yes.
We link to VA pages, state programmes, partner platforms, and other sources because they are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.
Policy citations, state counts, and legal descriptions are accurate as of the date shown on the page. Directives get reissued and state law changes. Where a date is shown, treat it as the date the claim was last verified — and check the primary source before you act on it.
The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Mendry and its directors, officers, volunteers, and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content, including any decision made about medical care or professional practice.
You agree to hold Mendry harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Hillsborough County, Florida.
